I LOVE this bag! It had everything I needed- tons of pockets for pencils, papers, and any other school necessities. The plastic document pouch was PERFECT for holding my schedule. I'm able to access it quicky and I can see everything. The large pocket was great for holding folders and binders. I received many compliments on how it looked. There were only a few problems with the bag. The strap twisted a lot inside the shoulder pad and that the bag broke after about seven months of use. It could have been that I overloaded it sometimes (when I had to carry a lot of stuff home it was difficult to close and bulged a lot). The clasp completely broke off and I couldn't find the cap piece. Also, the bag itself is a little long. Otherwise, the bag is awesome and I would highly recommend to anyone who needs a school bag and doesn't carry much!

I was a bit dubious about buying a bag like this off the internet - especially at a surplus store - without getting a good look at it first. Something told me it'd be a winner though, and sure enough, when it arrived today it was love at first sight! There are literally dozens of pockets, plenty of space for notebooks and textbooks, with a separate zipped compartment that fits my 15" laptop (a little snugly, but it fits) on the back! It is a little heavy, but when you're already lugging around 20# in books, who notices a few more ounces? The shoulder strap is strong, although the shoulder "padding" piece is little more than another chunk of the strap fabric. Still, for all its pros, these two cons are outweighed significantly! I must say - by far the best bag I've found yet!
