good, solid machete.
feels solid and has good grip.
strong solid blade, will have to work at it to damage or bend it.
holds edge well and is nice and sharp.
perfect for light clearing work with bushes, saplings and small limbs.

I use this machet to behead chickens. It was heavier than it appeared, which is good, but light enough that I could manage it well. It goes through bone easily, and did the job in short order.

This is a quality blade - not the wimpy one sold at your local hardware store. Came just in time to help cleanup the backyard after Hurricane Ike took a few trees down. Good for clearing brush/vines/small trees, etc. Bought it b/c my friend in the military had one. Would buy again. One of the center circles on the handle started popping out once but that was when trying to cut through 4" thick oak branches. Blade made by Ontario Knife so you know it's quality.
