Holds about 2/3 of a quart, and fits over the 1 qt canteen well. A couple of the rivets that hold the handle on look crooked, but they don't leak.

great product! i have used it before and cannot be without! i have done all kinds of things with it. cook, shave, dig and anything you can think of.
