The casualty blanket is designed to give as much protection as a full size wool blanket without the bulk or weight. It is too light duty for hard use but would be handy kept in the vehicle for emergency use. Which is what it is designed for.

Good, durable product, keeps you somewhat tactcal, yet you get the benefits of space blanket. could be used in survival situation for blanket, sun shade, solar still(maybe, not tested)and perhaps air panel. excellent price

Should keep one for everyone in car. Also throw one in pocket before hike in woods. Can be used as ground cloth for picnic on wet ground. Emergency poncho. Many uses for it!
