I got this while attending Valley Forge Military college. the OD green is a good color and it wears well. I still use the bag for college, although I am not in the Army Rotc any more. the Bag has held up great and I started sewing pins and other things like my name tape on it to personalize it. it takes sewing thread real well, (I've sewen by hand only so far). and if you want more pockets, or straps to hold down the main flap, you can just modify the bag your self. its more like an artistic blank than anything else. the velcro doesnt hold on to well so i suggest adding some closure aids to the main flap. otherwise great product and awsome classic on something you see alot of now, and something that I have recomended to friends.

Its roomy and has enough room for 4 notebooks and a large laptop. only two small pockets besides the main one, but big enough for most items.

I use this bag to hold all of my books for school. It's really nice - the size is perfect! It can hold quite a lot, but it is still easy to use when it isn't full, which is nice. A lot of bags sag inward and look silly if they aren't stuffed. I've started using this bag on weekends to hold a book, a sweater, and some snacks. It's also a good size to hold my laptop (13") - I can fit both my computer and my other school supplies.
The color is very beautiful it's a vibrant, forest type of green, not at all sallow or dirty looking. It goes well with everything.
My only complaint is that there is no padding on the shoulder strap, which can be uncomfortable with heavier loads. I have very narrow shoulders, so the strap sometimes digs into my collarbone.
