I needed a good boot for the winter months, and I'm very picky about show style and such. I'm not a fan of the traditional boot style and Cabela's had only a few boots to choose from that I liked but they were over $130. So I checked out military boot suppliers, found Altama and really liked the style of this boot. I've shoveled snow in them 3-4 times and worn them to work on several occasions. My feet have never been warmer in these sub-zero temperatures. There was virtually no break in period, from the start these boots were comfortable. Standing in 8-10 inches of snow? Not a problem at all, no wetness and no cold whatsoever. I would recommend these boots to anyone who needs a good pair of winter boots.
