Comments about Sumatra Jacket - Alpha:

This is a fantastic rain jacket. The only gripes I have with it are these:

1) It fits perfectly to size in the arms and neck, but the jacket itself is quite oversized. This is great for putting on sweaters on underneath during cold rains, but makes for a billowy nylon sheet on warm days. Well-styled and simple -- doesn't look like most over-designed sport wear. Good classic looks but certainly not a slim urban fit.

2) It's supposed to fit into its own pocket, and is designed to do so, but the pocket is too small to hold it! So I've managed to cram mine into its pocket, with great effort, but it's almost not worth the time and energy. Alpha either should have given it bigger pockets or foregone the whole pack-it away jacket idea on this one.

All in all, though, a great buy for the money. Don't waste your dollars on absurdly expensive and ugly outdoor performance wear when you can get this for so little.
